race results
hi was just wondering when the results for the races will be going on still none for the 8th of june or last weekend 21/22 june,I know it usually takes about a week for them to be put on but its been three weeks since 8th of june race although there are race reports and photo? Also can anyone tell me why we are always so short of mashalls I myself marshall every time out for my son along with my sister in law for hers there are the same familiar faces out there all the time,with the amount of riders out there and the marshall points needed I fail to see why we have a problem!! It does state when signing in no marsahall no ride.

Don't know the answer to the Marshalls question. I know it has been asked many times before and is an eternall problem. Results get posted as soon as I get them, I have asked, honest.

we are still looking for someone to do the chief marshalling post so if your interested give nicola a ring as iv been doing it as a favour cause no one else wants to do it and still have to marshal as well :D

who sends dave the results to put on, have been waiting now to update my son score sheet we keep.have been :shock: for a while now :lol:

I am sure someones got the results as they are done and printed at the end of each meeting!!!! It must only just be a matter of emailing a spread sheet through to Dave so he can update the web site, maybe this is one of the reasons why the numbers are getting less and less each week!!!

just an idea but at the end of a meeting they could give the photographer a copy of the results ready to put on with the photos.

RACE RESULTS
HI JUST A MESSAGE FOR THE PERSON WHO IS SO CONCERNED ABOUT THE RESULTS. IF YOU ARE THAT BOTHERED ABOUT WHERE YOUR SON IS IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP I WOULD HAVE THOUGHT YOU WOULD HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO LOOK ON THE LAPSCORING HUT AT THE END OF THE LAST MEETING (13TH JULY) AND YOU WOULD SEE THAT THE POINTS WERE ALL PRINTED OFF AND ON DISPLAY. ALSO THE REASON THE RESULTS ARE NOT ON THE WEBSITE YET IS BECAUSE JUST INCASE YOU WASNT THERE ON 13TH BUT MY SON SAM FOSTER BW85 NUMBER 14 HAD A SERIOUS ACCIDENT AND MY PRIORITIES AT THE MOMENT ARE TO BE WITH HIM AS AT THIS TIME HE IS IN A WHEELCHAIR FOR 3 MONTHS, SO CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS AND RACE RESULTS ARE THE LAST THING ON MY MINE. IF YOU THINK THIS IS SUCH AN EASY JOB WHY NOT COME TO THE AGM AND VOLUNTEER TO DO THE LAPSCORING FOR NEXT YEAR!!!!!

Hi can sympathise with you that your son has had a accident and wish him a speedy recovery. On a seperate note that accident happened on 13 july and we have not had any results from the 8th june, I appreciate your busy now as I would be with my own son, but surely they could have gone on before that date.It is a club perhaps you could ask another committe member or even a club member i have spoken to many myself and we are not unapproachable and are very willing to help out we understand there are a few problems at the moment and want to help out if we can please stop taking things as a personal insult after all it is our local club and we want to stop it failing any more than it already is.

RESULTS
Hi In response to the last comment, yes my priorities are with my son so the points will be done as soon as possible. Also if your intentions are purely to help the club then why did you not make yourself known at the last meeting and come and ask me for a copy of the points, myself the laptop was still there when I had gone to the hospital. Also the championship points were up at the last meeting, UPTO DATE!

Hi I gather from the use of capitals your trying to make a POINT, may remind you I am NOT critising you I appreciate your situation at the moment, But when you look back over the forum comments for the previous year there does seem to be some problems still with race results. Can you tell me by knowing who I am how it will help the situation I didn't think I was coming across as aggressive if I am I don't mean to be, all this started out as was a simple request for junes results and it has now turned into snotty coments and replies. Looking forward to your response, You really make me want to renew my club membership for next year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Deb, I hope your son makes a full and speedy recovery. I can certainly share your concerns for him. I got all the results today, on my return from hospital, and will get them processed and online ASAP. I suffered a major heart attack on Friday, and may be out of action for some time.

I hope that you both make a speedy recovery and will be good to see you both back at the track :wink:

Hi Dave Sorry to hear about your heart attack, we all hope you are up and about again soon. Sam is not too bad at the minute having to have another operation today, so hopefully after then he will be back on the road to recovery. Your forum is very good but as you can see, it does get a bit of abuse!! Everyone is so concerned about the club but are not willing to come on the committee to help. Also a message to ghostmx, what was the mistake with the results earlier in the year, and why wait until now to tell me, if I don't no I carn't sort it out. Also I am human and do make mistakes just like everyone else, so if there is a problem then I need to know about.
