it was our first time racing day with the pjmc our son was entered in the 50 auto section we generally enjoyed the day but found it hard going.it really concerns the marshalling aspect of it while we are willing to support the club but if you are supposed to go on a no marshal no ride policy where were all the marshalls. in the morning my wife and i were able to cope with preparing, organising and getting him to the start which was ok but in the afternoon i had to go trackside marshalling leaving my wife to cope with the last 2 races on her own she found this difficult as did other 50 auto novices. i am willing to do my bit but 4 hours on the trackside without a pee or tea break in the freezing cold worrying how they are coping takes the edge of the enjoyment side if things. it sounds like i,m moaning but we really did,nt know what to expect and maybe will be more organised next time
